The Limassol Municipal Museum of Folk Art hosts unique collections from the Cypriot tradition from the 19th and 20th century.

The former municipal retirement home was transformed into a Folk Art Museum in 1985 and hosts various artifacts, tools and other objects from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. These include garments, embroidery, wooden creations, agricultural tools and utensils, jewelry and furniture. It also includes a collection of porcelain with dishes from Greece, Europe and China some of them even dating back in 1725.

It is important to note that the renovation of the building and the work that has been done is considered as an example of urban architectural heritage for which it was awarded with the Europa Nostra in 1988.
